With over 7 years of experience working in the travel and tourism industry in Kenya, Joseph Aengwo has exceptional experience working in diverse settings across the country. He was formally trained at Moi University receiving a Diploma in Tourism and Wildlife Management graduating with distinction. As well, he holds certificates in Tour Guiding and Administration from Wildlife Clubs of Kenya and Fundamentals in Ornithology from the Elsamere Field Study Centre.


Joseph has extensive experience guiding tours in Samburu, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha, Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Tsavo East and Tsavo West, Araboko Sokoke Forest, Abaderes National Park, Lake Baringo, Lake Bogoria, and Kakamega Rainforest. Additionally, he has worked with renowned conservation initiatives such as the Colobus Trust in Diani Beach, and the Lake Baringo Biodiversity Conservation Group. He is a member of the Kenya Professional Safari Guide Association (Bronze level). 

 

Joseph is passionate about ornithology, conservation, wildlife, and traveling. He enjoys sharing this passion with guests providing exceptional insight into the wildlife, birds and culture present in Kenya. Wilson Tiren  is one of the leading authorities on bird identification and distribution in Lake Baringo. He participated actively in supplying the necessary data regarding species check-list development of Lake Baringo. He brings with him vast experience in bird spotting and identification gained from working with world leading ornithologist who visits his home area frequently. He recently underwent a Fundamental of Ornithology course in Elsamere Field Centre in Lake Naivasha and actively participated in conservation effort undertaken by Lake Baringo Biodiversity Conservation Group (LBBCG) of which he is a member. Wilson enjoys birding just like he enjoys leading birding tours.
